David's second cario-version (jump start) went without a hitch. One person dropped us off and another picked us up. In by 9:30 and out by 12:30. We had lunch and promptly took a nap! He has been on the stronger med now for 7 days so they are hopeful that there is enough in his system to hold the heart in sync. He will stay on the med until mid March. At that time he goes off all heart meds. They want it to clear out of his system so that the heart will have the trouble it is having. That will tell them where they need to work when he has the second ablation on April 15. We are praying that this second ablation will put him into that category where he needs neither meds nor a pace maker!! Yes, Lord!
Michelle is quite sure she can have time off, having 13th as a travel day. There was some procedure they had to do on the day before the ablation that he could not drive to because he could not drive after the procedure--like today. She would be here in time to cart him around and the few days after when he is not allowed to drive as well. I'm praying she gets the time off! Her boss is away right now because her mo-in-law died. I am sure she would be receptive to Michelle's request!
Well, this all took more out of me than I planned to give. Going to call it good for today. Thanks for the prayer, and all future ones--we are not out of the woods yet!
Blessings, and g'nite, Carol
